It feels like we just completed sprinkler blowout season about a month ago. As I age, time seems to pass by faster. During last fall’s blowouts, we acquired another compressor, which we plan to equip with an electric reel and 150 feet of hose this year. This will enable us to have 5 machines on the road this fall instead of 4, provided we can find technicians to operate them. The additional machine will allow us to perform approximately 80-100 more blowouts weekly. Our objective is to have 10 machines in operation and to achieve that, we will need to find technicians to operate them. We prefer to hire candidates with prior experience in sprinkler blowouts and then train them in proper methods. Every spring, we receive requests to repair sprinkler systems damaged due to incorrect sprinkler blowouts from another individual or company. However, when we hire individuals who lack experience, we can train them without needing to correct any bad habits they may have picked up from previous employers. Yes, we are picky in the way we do things.

Our official start date for sprinkler and lawn aeration services is April 1st. However, we will take care of some of our Package A, Package C, and backflow tests on Tuesday, and then again on Thursday or Friday. Customers on our route this week will be notified by text the night before. These services will only be available for those on City or well water, as we wait for irrigation to flow in the valley. This will take some strain off the technicians when irrigation water arrives. During the spring and summer months, we also receive requests for additional services such as window screen repair, fence rebuilds, gutter repair, dryer vent cleanouts, and siding repairs, which we will work on along with sprinkler repairs.
Due to high demand, we have added yard cleanup and small to medium tree removal this year. We are taking on lawn mowing for small to medium yards as well. Every year we get asked about lawn care, tree removal, and cleanup and due to scheduling, we have had to turn those requests down until now. Send a text to (208) 713-3170 for info.
