Happy birthday to my father-in-law, who is turning 88 years young today!
For those who remember The Three Stooges or the Keystone Cops, yesterday’s sprinkler blowouts felt like a chaotic episode inspired by both. While we expect the season’s final days to be hectic, yesterday was particularly challenging, with numerous locked gates and system issues needing attention. A few main & drain tubes will need to be pumped out before a blowout occurs, as they leak severely.
We typically strive to accommodate all customers except those who have caused us significant issues, such as requiring collections or liens. However, I’ve decided to refuse service to a few customers who consistently avoid communication or habitually leave gates locked, preventing access.
Our terms of service clearly state that the full price of a blowout will be charged after two unsuccessful attempts. We aim to provide reliable service, but we also need cooperation to make it work effectively.
Today, we will run one route: Brian and “Leroy” will start at the top, while Jesse and “Cyclone” will begin at the bottom. We currently have 24 stops on the list, including some new ones that came in yesterday. After completing today’s list, we will handle any new requests on Wednesday or after the holiday weekend.
