Other than getting soaked to the skin from all the rain, yesterday was a good day. We cleaned up all but two of our Package A and C customers except for two that need backflow preventers replaced before we can turn on the system. One of them wants me to bypass their backflow and get their water on and I said I can’t do that. He promptly told me in so many words to kiss a particular body part and that he wasn’t required to have a backflow preventer, and he was going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I told him to call Suez, who is his water purveyor, and ask THEM. I am sure you know what they told him. My job can get interesting at times……..
Due to circumstances beyond my control last night I was not able to send out texts or emails, so this blog post will have to do until I send out texts very early this morning. Our blog is by far the most reliable form of communication to get to hundreds of our customers quickly.
Jacob and I are going to team up today because there are a few jobs that will require two people so we just decided to make a day of it. It should speed up the time we spend at each location since there will be two working together. If it proves to be productive, we will do the same on Wednesday. If it doesn’t, we will split up again.
We are going to spend the majority of the day today in Meridian 83642, and with time allowance, work in Meridian 83646. There is no need to post streets at this time because there are only 12 stops in the 83642, so we should be able to reach them all without a problem. If we miss some, we will pick them up on Tuesday. There are also three or four backflow tests in Meridian to do this morning as well.
