UPDATE 11:30 A.M. : Justin is back in play as soon as he drops his daughter off at school he will head to Caldwell and start his route.
I was going to have Justin doing Package “A” sprinkler start-ups in Caldwell, Meridian, Kuna, Garden City, and Boise today, but I got a call this morning that his daughter turned her ankle last night and this morning it looks like it may be broken. More on that later.
I will have to adjust Jesse’s route today. He has a valve he has to change out this morning where we had to have the entire neighborhood shut down. There are other repairs to do at that property, but right now we just want to get the valve in place so it doesn’t keep the entire neighborhood without water.
Once the valve is taken care of Jesse will be working Packages “A”, “B”, and “C” customers in Caldwell, Nampa, Kuna, and Star, and Middleton.
I will be taking care of Package “A” and “C” customers in Boise, Meridian, Garden City, and Boise, while also doing backflow tests for “D” customers that Jesse has already been too. The hardest part for me is getting out of my office to actually work on service calls because of all the emails and texts that come in each morning. There are more than I can get finished in a day, so whatever doesn’t get done we will work on tomorrow afternoon Not sure yet on status of Justin for Friday until I hear back from him today about my granddaughter.
Friday Jesse and I will both spend half the day in Avimor and then head to Meridian and possibly Boise again.
We have two weeks to finish the all the current start-ups because around the middle of the month we start an exterior paint job of a house in Boise.
So no package b jobs in meridian at this time?
Please see reply to Shawn’s post.
sounds like you’re really over-extended, signed up in March
This happens every year, but unfortunately, with one assistant out with back issues until just a few days ago, and me getting stuck in my office dealing with 30-40 texts at a time. I no sooner close out one text and then I get 4 more. It’s like playing Asteroids. We need more help, but good help is hard to find. Either I can’t find someone with the skillset I require, or people just don’t want to work. We are going as fast as we can. We have also received a number of bad main & drain lines which each one takes about a day to complete. We are trying to get to the easy turn-ons first so that they aren’t waiting while we take care of the big jobs.
Are packages B in Meridian not being done today?
Not today. We had already pre-planned with our customers the trip to Caldwell and Nampa several days ago. We were supposed to go to Nampa and Caldwell earlier, but didn’t make it, so don’t want to do that to them twice in a row. Good news is Justin is back in play so that should help a lot with the 30 start-ups we have in Nampa, Caldwell, Middleton, Star, and Kuna
