Sprinkler blowouts did not go as hoped for yesterday, so there are six homes we have to add to today’s list to get them finished. We ran into a number of system issues including solenoids that woudn’t turn off, ones that wouldn’t turn on and the valve box location is unknown, and a main valve that we had to fight with to shut it off so we could build up enough air pressure to blow out the system.
With new ones that came in yesterday, it puts us at 38 left to complete thus far. This is currently what is left from the 141 sprinkler blowouts in the Meridian 83646. There could be a few that just signed up that will have to wait until we swing around again so that we can tend to other zip code areas where customers have been waiting longer. We will continue through the end of the day on Friday in the Meridian 83646. I will have someone working with me on Friday, which will speed up our visits.
As expected, we did receive some cancellations yesterday after the tentative schedule posting, but also as expected we picked up nearly 30 new requests. We have currently beaten last year’s record by 12, which even with cancellations, I expect many more. Almost 75% of our business is repeat customers that go back as far as 11 years.
We have a large property of 36 zones to do in the Meridian 83646 tomorrow morning, which will eat up some time, but then will continue to homes shown in the image below. Texting me with garage codes or getting timer access would be much appreciated.
