Finished up sprinkler blowouts in Kuna yesterday except for 5 I couldn't get access to because of locked gates. Not sure how I can make it any clearer I will be there. I send out text reminders, post daily on this blog, and still find those who just aren't paying attention. One in particular really made me angry because I drove WAY out of my way just to pull up to a ranch gate with a padlock on it the size of my hand. When I came back to my office I found they had sent in a cancellation right before I got there. In accordance with our terms of service, they will receive a $25 charge.
I am bombarded with texts all day long asking me questions that are either answered on my website, in this blog, or in the terms of service. That can really slow me down when I am trying to do sprinkler blowouts and answer texts at the same time. I may just start ignoring them so I can get on with the task at hand. I get the same thing in emails and phone messages, which I rarely have time to read or check. I am also getting cancellations by text, email, and phone messages, and have to take more time out to point them to our cancellation form when how to cancel is listed in the terms of service, complete with a link. I even updated the confirmation email a few weeks ago to show the cancellation link. We can't accept phone, text, or email cancellations because I just may not have time to check them. The cancellation form works automatically removing them from my active list.
Today's Route
Below is the route for today. What I do not finish in Star today I will return to do on Wednesday before heading to Caldwell. #1 is not showing, but is on La Reata Way. Click on the image for a larger view. Make sure gates are accessible, valve boxes are visible, etc., or you will get passed up until our next pass through the area.
