Only 58 sprinkler blowouts to go! Yippee! Umm, sorry, had to get that off my chest.
Yesterday I closed down the entire valley to new requests unless someone really BEGS me to do theirs. We are at 963, which tops last year's 817, and I am pooped…… I literally fall asleep at my computer every evening while doing my daily invoices, routing, emails, texts, etc.
Yesterday I finished up the Meridian 83646, Eagle, Garden City, and all but one in the 83713. We will be getting that one first thing today.
As the post title says, we will be working in 8 different zip codes today. We are working in the 83713, 83702, 83703, 83704, 83705, 83706, 83712, and 83716 today. I have an assistant for the day, so hopefully we can pull off the 25 sprinkler blowouts on my list. All but 4 are on city water, which takes a little longer to do. It is CRUCIAL today that everything is ready for us so we can finish up. If we get slowed down for any reason at all some of the blowouts won't be done until the next day, and neither you nor I want that.
So, make sure gates are accessible BEFORE we get there, valve boxes are brushed off and visible, timer is available if valve boxes are buried, and if paying by check, address checks to, "The Maintenance Shop."
Here is our routing map for today. Click to enlarge. I plan to hit the road about 7:30, so hope to arrive at our first destination by 8:00 after we fill up our large soda containers with caffeine to get us through the day. 🙂
