We didn't get to all the sprinkler blowouts in Meridian 83646 on Sunday obviously with there being so many, but was able to do every one we went to except one on Valentino in the Paramount Subdivision because both gates were locked. Guess that one will have to wait until I am in Meridian again. Only 29 sprinkler blowouts left in Meridian as of this writing, but we expect a lot more to come in during this week.
We will be doing sprinkler blowouts in Eagle and Garden City on Monday, and we shouldn't have any problems getting all of our current list of the area finished unless there are unforeseen issues with a sprinkler system. All Eagle and Garden City customers should leave access through gates, and to the timer if at all possible.
Tuesday through Friday we will be doing sprinkler blowouts in areas of Boise. The zip code areas we will be working in will be updated late each night and available for viewing early in the morning.
Hi There – It would be helpful to know what zip codes you are including for each town. My address is Boise, but it could also be considered Garden City. I'd rather not have to keep my dog locked in all day if it is not likely that I'm on the list. Thanks!
For future years, it might be helpful to have a "rolling table" of zip codes/towns/counts in the order you expect to do them – even if you don't know what day. I'm guessing you already have this information, but just not on your website. Maybe something like this:
Zip City Count Day
83713 Boise 2 Monday
83704 Boise 3 Monday
83714 Garden City 5 Monday/Tuesday
83703 Garden City 4 Tuesday?
83634 Kuna 6 Wednesday?
83616 Eagle 8 Future
83617 Eagle 4 Future
etc…
This would give your customers a better idea of when to expect you.
Thanks!
Kelly,
Thanks for your input. I tried scheduling further in advance just as you show in your comment, but it never works because of problems I run into along the way. For the record, I have Garden City as 83714 only
Thanks Steven. I know it's a challenge. Even just including the zip codes and/or boundaries for the next day helps. Going down to the street level does seem like a lot of extra effort. I do appreciate the daily blog updates. Thanks!
