We are down to 97 sprinkler blowouts currently on our list. We will continue to take them as they come in.
Usually the last few regular days of our sprinkler blowouts we are all over the map, so I generally don’t post individual streets we are visiting. We will be covering everything currently on our list in certain zip codes, so putting the streets in isn’t necessary.
With that being said, here are the zip codes or cities we will be visiting today. Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Star, Boise 83703, 83704, 83705, 83712, 83713, and 83716. No, we didn’t forget about additional areas, they will be hit on Thursday. If all goes well, we can finish our current list on Thursday as we wait for others to come in.
Short, I know, but I am pooped! Stay tuned for more tomorrow……
So I don’t see my zip code in there anymore. How do I know if I’m still on the list? (Removed by Admin) W Candlewood Dr…..
You are not in our active database because we received a cancellation from you on 10/26/2020 19:32:35. As it states in today’s blog post, “No, we didn’t forget about additional areas, they will be hit on Thursday. If all goes well, we can finish our current list on Thursday as we wait for others to come in.” Had you not canceled, you would have been visited tomorrow. If you would like to sign up again, you can, but it will be at the late-season rate.
This is an incredibly frustrating system you have. Signed up and didn’t hear anything for weeks. So I tried to email and call you. No response from anybody. So yes, I canceled. I went threw my junk Mail box and found an email saying I was on a waiting list. So I re-signed up the same day with instructions where my box was. I have the second emails confirmation from 10/26. I should not have to pay the late rate just because the communication here is bad.
Emily, I am not sure where to even start, but here goes.
1. It says in the sprinkler blowout terms of service, (The 2nd line in fact) that we do not take phone calls during sprinkler blowouts
2. we have received no emails from you other than your first request and the cancellation. I am not surprised though because Hotmail, Yahoo, and AOL are 3 of the most unreliable email systems on the planet. One customer comes to mind who emails me with her Hotmail account and I do get them occasionally, but when I answer they always come back to me as no such email address.
3. We did email you on the 22nd of October letting you know you were still active on our list. If you didn’t get it sorry, blame Hotmail. It states in our terms that we are not responsible for missed emails and texts because we have NO control over email and text providers. That is why we have this blog. We DO have control over that.
4. Speaking of this blog you found your way here, which means you must have read our blowouts page and terms of service. It also clearly states that you won’t hear from us PERSONALLY until the night before we are to be at your location. With that, I am not sure why you expected to hear something sooner. Especially when we also showed a link on our page to our calendar, with a HUGE link at the bottom of the page.
5. If you signed up the very same day you canceled, we didn’t receive it, or your sprinkler blowout would have been done by now.
6. We deal with over 4,000 blowout requests per season, and do not have the time to give the personal touch with that workload until you see us at the job site. During the peak of the season, we get THREE calls per 5 seconds. We cannot handle those types of calls which is why more than 10 years ago we started an automated system so we wouldn’t lose anyone. Once you are in our system you stay there until either the job is complete or you cancel out of our system.
7. We have done over 30,000 blowouts with this system and it has worked quite well.
8. If you would like us to do your blowout, sign up again and we will get it taken care of tomorrow. I’ll even do it at the early season rate. We plan on being done on Friday, with no exceptions. Here is a link you can use: https://forms.gle/L854L2DEc4TRKQj98
