Sprinkler Blowouts For Tuesday, November 8, 2022

We are still only running two rigs as we train some new techs. We should have three rigs running on Wednesday and hopefully four rigs running on Thursday, and hopefully through the remainder of the season.

For those worrying about the colder temperatures, don’t forget that it will take another month before freezing will reach most sprinkler piping. If you’re still concerned, check through the comments for the link on how to protect your system while waiting for a sprinkler blowout.

I have updated the calendar for the rest of the week but there could still be some changes depending on how each day goes. Over the weekend I will update another week. As we get closer to finishing the season the scheduling does get easier.  We still are on target to have blowouts completed by Thanksgiving, or worst case scenario by the end of the month.

Just wondering when you will be getting back to 83646? You all do such a great job. Thank you! Your work is appreciated ☺️

Stacy, right now half of our remaining blowouts are in Meridian, the 83704, and 83709, so we will be concentrating heavily on those in the next several days. Relax, we will get to you.

Thank you so much! I see that my street is on today’s ( Thursdays) . I’d like to make sure I’m home when you get here. How will I know when that will be?

We have no idea how long blowouts are going to take which is why we don’t make appointments. We would always be late.

How do I know if you have received my request for sprinkler blowout, and when I will be on the schedule?

We have your request. We are working on several in the 83704 this week. Not sure if you will show up on this week or next. We route every night and then let you know when you come up in our system for service the next day. I would love to route them early, but there are a LOT of customers that come and go so the route would never be accurate.

Hey Steven, I’m in 83702, which isn’t currently on the calendar.
I’m out of town from the 10th through the 22nd, should I cancel and then sign up again on the 22nd? Valves are behind a locked gate so I have to be around.

No need to cancel. I will save yours for when you return. Just in case I would suggest closing your main valve and opening the drain, then turn the test cock screws to a 45-degree angle and do the same with the two valve handles on the backflow. That will drain it. Everything in the ground will be fine for another month or more
