Sprinkler Blowouts For Thursday, November 16, 2023

We are loving this weather for sprinkler blowouts. I wish it was this nice every year until blowouts are finished, but this is Idaho where consistency doesn’t exist. We had pretty decent weather last season, but there were some quick cold snaps. It didn’t actually get cold until January well after blowouts are finished. We usually like to wrap up the season the day before Thanksgiving, but since the weather has been phenomenal we will likely keep going through the first or second week of December as long as the requests keep coming in. Since it is relatively slow on our other repairs over the winter, the funds from sprinkler blowouts is what sustains us through the slow period.

When we route an area we are looking at who signed up the earliest that hasn’t been done yet and then work our route of about 20 stops around that location. This brings in not only the oldest requests but also some of the newest, so we get a good variety.

The routes today will clean up about 30 percent of the 83646. Once we clean up some other areas we can concentrate fully on Meridian and the 83709. So here we go for today:
