All in all, Friday wasn’t too bad in sprinkler blowout land. We only ran into a few that couldn’t be done at the time either because of locked gates or not being able to find everything we need. Both causes are unacceptable. We let people know we are coming so that gates can be unlocked, and valve boxes are supposed to be visible as agreed in our terms. Our last few days out when we do our “valley sweep” we will have access and be able to find what we need or there will be no return trip like there is earlier in the season. By this time we are ready to be done. Because of the water shortage and early season start, we will be finishing up our 9th week today. We are all tired. 92% completed for this year!
Jesse is working this afternoon only, and Jerry and Trevor are scheduled for the entire day. There could possibly be a hiccup in routing with Trevor because his girlfriend’s mom is in the hospital and may pass away sometime today and if so Trevor will have to leave his route and continue another day. If that happens we will have to rearrange our schedule for the rest of the week and the finishing up next week since this will be a short week. In times past we have worked the day after Thanksgiving, but with running 9 weeks straight everyone is going to get a 4-day weekend and we will resume the Monday after Thanksgiving.

We are very sorry to hear about Trevor’s girlfriend’s Mother. We send strength, healing light and prayers.
Thank you, and much appreciated. It isn’t easy to be chosen as an employee of The Maintenance Shop because of our quality standards, so those who become part of the team also become part of the family business and we are all worried for Trevor.
