Sprinkler blowouts went quite well on Friday. I personally finished our current list as of Thursday night in the 83706 and worked in the 83713 afterwards, as Jesse worked in the 83713 all day.
Today I will be doing sprinkler blowouts in the 83713 again, but unfortunately Jesse has a family engagement he has to attend so I will be on my own for the day. Usually I route all my current blowouts of an area and follow the bouncing ball so to speak until the end of the day. However, since I am on my own today I am going to bring up all the remaining blowouts in the 83713 and look for tight “clusters” I can work in to get as many finished as possible. If I skip around to these clusters I will make a bigger dent in our list, since the closer the blowouts are together I can save on drive time. I obviously won’t finish the area, but we will be back soon as get closer to finishing our first round through the valley.
Sunday we start our first day in the Meridian 83642 in which we will work for two days and then start in the Boise 83709.
Any tentative timeline for the other side of Meridian, 83646?
The Meridian 83646 is always our first area when we start blowouts, and we spent 3 days there because it is nearly 20% of all the requests we receive each year. We will be passing through again for about 4 days after we make it through the first round of areas we haven’t been to yet. We will be passing through the Meridian 83646 on Halloween through November 3. I live in the Meridian 83646 and am on city water, but don’t blow my own sprinklers out until Thanksgiving because it is the only day I have off to do so. Shows how concerned I am about the weather. We have several weeks left that we can blow out sprinklers, and usually blow them out through the first week of December and then stop. Not because it is too late after that, but because by that point we are tired of doing them. You can see out stats for this year here: http://www.treasurevalleyrepairs.com/blog/?p=2740
The areas that show 0% we haven’t gotten to yet on our first round. The areas that are blank have not had any requests yet.
Any idea when you will be in Nampa 83686 zip code?
Set for October 27-28, but it could sooner. It is based on completing 30 blowouts a day, but we have been fortunate enough to complete around 36 or so. Yesterday we did a whopping 46!
Having a tentative date range is perfect. Thank you!
Do u happen to know about when u will be in the Star area?
We are scheduled for Star, Middleton, and Kuna on October 25, but could be earlier. We are getting more blowouts completed per day than expected
