Sprinkler Blowouts For Monday, October 18, 2021

Even though we are down to three machines until I get our new one up and ready to go and find someone to run it, we are 475 sprinkler blowouts AHEAD of what we were last year at this time since we were able to start a few weeks earlier. And, since the weather looks great for sprinkler blowouts at least until the end of the month, (can’t see any further than that at this time) we should have another 600 or more completed by the end of the month.  From the looks of it, the ground temperature is going to be above freezing where piping is for another 6 weeks or more at least.  As it starts getting cooler I will start taking daily in-ground temperature readings and passing them along.  So, let’s not have our newbies to the area freaking out when it gets down in the 30’s at night.  The science isn’t wrong.

We ran another ad on Facebook to find someone to help us finish blowouts this fall so fingers crossed that we find someone soon.  I will have to do some modifications on the machine we just purchased, but hope to have it ready to go within 3-4 days as long as I am not stuck in the office answering texts all day asking questions that are already answered on the sign-up page and the terms of service.

I am going to be working on the calendar extensively over this week.  A lot of changes need to be made.  It has taken us a little longer to get out of Eagle, so hoping that will get worked out today with Jesse and Trevor.  Tuesday Jesse will be making his normal rounds to the “boonies” to take care of Fruitland, Emmett, Marsing, and Melba and then coming back to Meridian.  We need to concentrate on Meridian and the Boise 83709 for a while until we get them more under control.  If you look at those zip code stats on our web stats page you will see why.

On Jerry’s route, it will look a little strange to those who know the area really well.  I am bouncing him around a bit to get the top 21 who have been waiting for the longest, and then when are back in the Meridian 83646on Tuesday and Wednesday I can grab “clusters” within an area that have the most in them so there is less drive time and we can get to them faster which means getting more done in a day.

Jesse and Trevor will be splitting the route in Eagle to get them finished up for this time around.  Trevor will start at the top of the route and Jesse will start at the bottom and they will meet somewhere in the middle.  That being said, if they finish early enough I will add in some blowouts from the Meridian 83646 to finish out their day.  These people won’t be able to be contacted, so if someone shows up at your door just think, “Surprise!”
