It’s been kind of crazy over the last 4 days in Sprinkler Blowout Land. First, Mike tied up some loose ends on Friday, and Brian was supposed to take care of the remaining blowouts in the 83713, but took a fall down some stairs, bruised some ribs, and had a partially collapsed lung. Therefore, Jesse took over Brian’s route on Saturday but couldn’t finish because some customers were not paying attention to the information provided in this blog and our terms. Jesse can into SEVERAL PVBs that weren’t pre-winterized with the information given and were frozen when he got there. He was able to thaw a few of them out and continue with the blowout, but he was only able to accomplish a little over half the route. Everything underground will be fine for probably 3 to 4 weeks or more, but we can’t get to it if parts above ground are not winterized. Whatever Jesse doesn’t finish today on his 83713 route will be added to Monday’s Meridian route.
As stated in our last post, we have put the calendar back up, but depending on how Brian is doing, there may have to be some additional changes. He feels like he needs Monday to recuperate, and then start work again on Tuesday, but we shall see what happens. I jokingly asked him when he fell if he had been hitting on the eggnog a little early, and he assured me no eggnog or alcohol was involved…..
