Sprinkler Blowouts For Friday, November 5, 2021

10 Day ForecastI am really liking this weather. No cold weather in sight for the next 10 days, and from my experience when we have weather like this it will stay this way until the first week of December at least. Even if we get down to freezing for one night, it won’t hurt sprinkler piping. I remember several years ago doing sprinkler blowouts the day before Thanksgiving in a t-shirt and shorts. Here is the 10-day forecast from KTVB. (Click on image to enlarge)

We had a little hiccup yesterday with a bad tire on Leroy, so Trevor took it to Les Schwaab to get a new tire.  They love us because they keep our entire fleet running.  Then on the way home last night the other tire on Leroy blew, so first thing this morning Trevor will take care of that before starting his route.  A nice family with some acreage was nice enough to let Trevor park the machine there overnight.  I wish Les Schwaab had changed both tires at the same time.  Would have been a lot better for us.

It totally amazes me how someone can say something is our fault because they chose not to either read or follow our terms.  Trevor had a blowout yesterday that required turning down his machine four different times so he could transfer the hose to another pipe and turn up his machine again to blow it out.  Those take a lot of time so as it shows on our site and in our terms, there is an additional fee for each hook-up.  Of course, it’s our fault that they were charged for this when they didn’t expect it.  Well, it IS right on our page and in the terms…… So we got us another slap on Yelp.  Some people just don’t want to take responsibility for their own actions.  I can’t stand Yelp anyway, and most businesses don’t because they can take a perfectly great review and put it in their “unrecommended” section because it isn’t looked at by a human, it’s judged by a machine.  We have over FIFTY 5-star reviews on Yelp you can’t even see………
