We are down to about 50 sprinkler start-ups to do, so we hope to have them completed by the end of the week. We have about 24 lawn aerations to do and doing them at a rate of about 4-5 per day weekdays only. We might have them finished by the end of the week as well.
We still have around 90 sprinkler start-ups from a property management company that we are working in periodically, but concentrating mostly on our regular customers who were signed up before we received the management company list.
I am working hard at getting the backflow tests completed. Especially those in Meridian that have to be in by May 1. Anyone that signed up for a Package “D” is getting the start-up completed by Jesse and the backflow tested by me as I make my rounds. I am doing all Package “A” and “C” personally.
We are doing only 4-5 lawn aerations a day because it is quite tiring. The machine we use weighs nearly 500 lbs and would be very difficult to run all day long without a pause. We are alerting those getting aerations the day before so they can water their lawns so we get better penetration with our machine. It is important to remember that those who have requested overseeding need to water their lawn for about 30 minutes each day for at least a week to get the seed to set.
We also have several major repairs that need to be done, and we are going to work them in based on severity of problem meaning if there is water flooding a yard, crawlspace, etc, and the water can’t be shut off until we can get there, we will push it ahead of some of the other work.
I am interviewing two potential employees in the morning if they show up. Some don’t bother showing up at all. It will be nice to have the additional help we need especially when fall comes and we get THOUSANDS of sprinkler blowout requests. I’ll post info if we do pick up another employee or two.
I went to turn my sprinklers water on. The The faucet and that is in that won’t turn off. What is wrong with it?
That is a very common problem. Usually the washer comes loose inside or it comes apart inside. The only thing that can be done is to replace it.
Has your team made it to Kuna for package “A” customers yet?
Thank you!
Yes, Jacob was out there on April 22, but he couldn’t find your main valve. I will be sending Jesse out sometime during the week to find it and get your water on.
