We are diligently working away at several repair requests in the valley so we can concentrate on sprinkler blowouts. Nampa Meridian Irrigation District, (NMID) has announced they will be shutting down its 500 miles of canals for the season on the morning of October 6, a month later than the forced shutdown last year on September 5, due to the lack of water.
We will be starting sprinkler blowouts on or about Monday, October 13, and will continue to Thanksgiving as we do every year. We anticipate nearly 600 sprinkler blowouts this year, so we will we running nearly non-stop 7 days a week until all are complete, and we stop taking new requests. We are currently looking for an assistant to help us handle the demand this year, and have an online job application for those interested in applying for the postion.
Those who signed up for sprinkler blowouts last year will be receiving an email soon to sign-up again for this year. If you have previously filled out our form for sprinkler blowouts, agreeing to our terms of service, all you will need to do for this year is send a reply to the email to be on our list. If any of your information has changed, be sure to fill out the form again. This includes email, phone, and address changes.
