Yesterday went okay, but I didn't finish as many blowouts as I needed to do which means I will have to work even harder today. I ran into a few places where the gates were padlocked again with someone at home, and had to wait what seemed like an eternity for them to unlock the gate. PLEASE make sure gates are accessible BEFORE I get there, not when I arrive ready to work.
There are currently 23 in the 83709 left to do, which includes one new one that came in yesterday, and many of them are spread apart which means more travel time between. Travel time can be a killer on the day, which is why I work so hard at putting a tight route together. It is normal to see them spread apart more toward the end of the season.
I will try as hard as I can to finish all 23, but it won't likely happen. If I spend 15 minutes or less at each property I could get to all on the list in about 8 hours including travel time. Rest assured that any left over will be done when we do a sweep across the entire valley. The sweeps themselves can take a few days, again, because of travel time.
Saturday I will be doing sprinkler blowouts in the Meridian 83646, and any in the area not finished on Saturday will be finished the first half of Sunday. I may not get them all on Saturday because I have an event I am part of so I have to attend. Sunday will also be the day we start our sweep through the valley starting with the 83713 and 83616, and then working our way around the valley.
Our price for a new sprinkler blowout request went up on December 1 since it takes longer to reach each blowout, and I believe we still received 13 new requests scattered throughout the valley.
I am behind on invoices again, so anyone expecting theirs it will come within a few days I hope. I believe I currently have about 30 to do.
Below is the route for the 83709 that we are planning on following today. The route could change some if some early morning cancellations come in from the area. Click on the image for a larger view.
