I made a LOT of changes yesterday to our calendar out of necessity. Not really what I wanted to do, but it was important to help us get the most blowouts completed in the shortest period of time.
I had to move most of the B0ise zip codes except for the 83713 and 83709 to the week after Thanksgiving. the reason for this is that more than HALF of our remaining blowouts are in the 83709, and both Meridian zip codes. With such a large number to do in these areas, they are really close together which means we can get more done in a day, therefore, completing all remaining blowouts faster. I am sorry for those that are inconvenienced by the change, but we have to look at all remaining jobs as a whole that will benefit everyone in the long run.
Another change made yesterday is I shut down all NEW requests for all areas in the valley EXCEPT for Meridian which will likely be shut down Friday meaning ALL areas will be closed. Those in the areas that have been shut down need not panic. Let me reiterate that we have shut down to NEW requests. This means once we get to your zip code they will be easier and faster to do.
The reason why we are behind in Boise itself is that we are short one technician and because our personal friend and nearest competitor is no longer taking blowouts in Boise and referred them all to us this season. We will get to everyone on our list. If you no longer wish to wait you are more than welcome to cancel and choose another provider.
Jesse is not working today. His wife, (my daughter) has some very important doctor appointments today with tests being run that will likely ruin her day. Jesse will be working on Saturday, as will Challis to get more of Meridian under control.
