Sprinkler Blowouts For Tuesday, October 25, 2022

Kelly and Jerry did an awesome job yesterday on their routes but didn’t get to all of them because of some system issues with a few of them.  It doesn’t take long for a problem system to throw off the route for an entire day. That handful of stops that we didn’t get to will be reached today.

We have a new guy starting tomorrow who will ride around with Jesse for the day for training.  He already has prior experience, so it should be a smooth transition training him to work blowouts OUR way.  Our new guy comes to us from a referral from a long-time customer, so thank you for that.

Since there’s no set dates. Do you have to be home at the time or are you able to just bill us?

We let you know the night before if you want to make arrangements to be home. You don’t need to be home at the time of service as long as the techs have access to all they need to do the blowout. If they can’t find all the valves, then the timer is needed.

If you aren’t at home at the time of service you will receive an invoice in your email as stated in our terms of service.

Are you all going to do 83642 soon since temperatures are at freezing this last week ??

Piping doesn’t instantly freeze when the temperature drops to 32 degrees. It takes several days or even WEEKS of cold temperatures for freezing temperatures to reach sprinkler piping. I tested the ground temperature last year on December 8 and it was 38 degrees 6 inches down.

We will be making several trips through Meridian because it is about one-third of all our blowouts.

Many thanks for scheduling and getting our blowout done the next day! Have told all our friends about you!

I appreciate the kind words, but that doesn’t happen very often. Someone could sign up in the first week of October and another at the end of October and both get done on the same day because that is when we are back in that area.

I sent an email yesterday, I was scheduled for a blowout on tues 10/25/22 W Deer Crest Dr and on Orange Julius’ route but didn’t receive any service. Just wanted to see if I was added to another day because the guys possibly ran out of time?

Jerry was there but couldn’t do the blowout. His notes said, “Unable to locate all zones, not timer access, no answer.”

I’ve had you guys do the blowout for the last two years without issue. You all have never needed access to the timer. I have valves on the right side of the house in the front and back. In the request I stated where the backyard ones are (behind the shrubs on the far right corner) because those are the tricky ones to find. The front yard ones are clear as day on the right side of the house.
So what do I need to do now, request a new blowout?

          Nope. We’ll be back
