Sprinkler Blowouts For Saturday, October 30, 2021

Yesterday was a really good day in sprinkler blowout land in Kuna.  The team cleared off the entire list they started with. Of course, another one was added yesterday after the route was already made so they will have to wait for our next pass through the area.  We might be able to squeeze that one in on the way to Nampa or something next week.

It was NOT a good day otherwise.  My wife was out shopping for some things for our yearly Halloween trunk or treat with all the family when she was T-Boned by a guy in a truck that pulled out of a parking lot.  When I got the news I rushed to the scene, (over by the carwash at Eagle & Pine) and my wife was in some pain and all shook up.  She just had back surgery fusing some vertebrae together back in May, and she still isn’t totally healed so I took her to the ER at St. Luke’s Meridian to get her checked out.  She is pretty stiff right now, and I am sure today she will really feel it.

The car was our brand new 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Outerbanks that had less than 5,000 miles on it.  Hopefully, it can be made as good as new or replaced with one exactly like it. My wife really loves that car. It still had the new car smell.

Jerry is working today, but won’t be out until this afternoon as he has a prior commitment this morning.  He has had already put in more than 40 hours by the end of the day Friday because they guys generally work 10 hour days, so I don’t demand anyone work on the weekends.  It is totally voluntary.  Jerry will be working tomorrow as well.

Here is Jerry’s route for today. He only has 10 on his route.  If he finishes them I may throw a few “surprise” visits on his route if I haven’t already left for the family trunk or treat.

So sorry to hear about your wife. fingers crossed that she recovers quickly. What an awful shock for both of you.

Thank you. She is a real trooper. When we finally made it home she immediately grabbed her laptop and started invoicing yesterday’s stops, and got them all out by midnight.
