Sprinkler Blowouts For Saturday, October 19, 2019

63 blowouts completed yesterday.  Jesse did about 26% of the 83713, while Jacob and I worked opposite sides of Meridian.  By Sunday evening we will have around 600 sprinkler blowouts completed – Not bad for two weeks of long hours and hardly any sleep, and 20 hours of overtime pay for Jacob and Jesse.  They each do 10+ hours a day Monday through Thursday and then 10+ hours of overtime each day for Friday and Saturday.  I give them Sundays off so they can go to church, which is where I would be if we didn’t have to run 7 days a week.  There is a reason it is called the day of rest…….  Usually the only days off I see is November 9 for my wife’s birthday, and Thanksgiving.  This year Jesse needs the 9th off, so I will have to work the day or we would only have one machine running which is unacceptable.  The day after Thanksgiving we start up again.

Once we finish up our first pass through all the zip codes the next pass through won’t take near as long to accomplish.  Normally we can take on several zip codes in one day on our 2nd, 3rd, 4th pass, etc.,  The only exception to that is Meridian and the Boise 83709.  We will likely need a rig in both of the areas almost continuously for additional passes.  Meridian is home to about a third of all the blowouts we received each year.

Below are the routes for today.  Jesse will be in Melba and Kuna, Jacob will be in the 83642, and I will be in the 83646 yet again.  Jesse will finish up Kuna on Monday and Tuesday likely.  All those on our route today have been texted, but we are still running into a few here and there that aren’t receiving them, or they will get the individual texts but not the mass texts sent out each night.  It’s always best to check this blog anyway because I have 100% control of it.
