Staying Put For Sprinkler Blowouts On Wednesday

Tuesday didn’t go too bad for sprinkler blowouts until I ran out of gas. Stupid me, being in a hurry and not paying attention. I learned a valuable lesson though. NEVER let a diesel engine run out of fuel. I wasn’t able to get it started the rest of the day even after filling it with 33 gallons of fuel. I am no mechanic, and know very little about diesel engines, but did learn that I have to bleed the air out of the lines now to get it started again.

So, this morning early I am going to try and bleed the lines and go on about the day of sprinkler blowouts. I will be staying in the 83704 zip code to try and catch up with the ones that I previously told I would get to.

We were going to have our Meridian machine running today while I was in Boise, but my son is home with a sick 3 year old, so we will try again for Thursday. If I can’t get my big diesel machine running I will use the smaller one and head to Boise.

If anyone is diesel mechanically inclined, and willing to help me get this thing started, I would appreciate it, and I am sure several hundred other people would appreciate it as well. 🙂
