Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Wednesday was not a good day in Sprinkler Blowout Land. First of all, Bruno was a no-show again, so unfortunately, we had to let him go. He also “ghosted” us all Wednesday and didn’t return calls or texts or bring our tools and equipment back as instructed. We put Mike on Bruno’s route because it is our policy not to leave people hanging more than once when we say we will be there. Brian kept his scheduled route. Then, Mike had a machine issue that Jesse had to take some time out of his day and off his route to look at. Brian and Mike finished their routes, but Jesse did not. He ran out of time. Did I ever say that I do not like Daylight Savings Time and wish it would just go away?
We have 379 sprinkler blowouts left to do at the time of this writing, but that can change quickly over the weekend. Most of them are in Meridian and the 83709 as planned so we can focus on their completion next week. We were planning on being finished by Friday, December 1, but with Bruno gone, it may go into the following Monday or Tuesday. We have a pretty good handle on it now. In fact, since we are down to the last week I will be putting the calendar back in service over the weekend for a while. Just remember we can’t do all blowouts in the 83709, 83642, or 83646 in one day. The calendar will reflect that, and when an address comes up in our routing we will let the customer know the night before as always.
